What's new

The City of Riverbend's new online permit portal is live. Residents and contractors can apply for building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical permits from any device, pay fees online, and track the status of a review in real time.

What you can do

  • Start and save a permit application
  • Upload plans and supporting documents
  • Pay permit fees by card or bank transfer
  • See inspection results and schedule re-inspections

Getting started

Visit the Permits section and create an account with your email. If you already have a permit in progress, our staff has migrated it for you — just search by your address.

Need help? The Building Department is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Finally! I've been waiting for this for months. The online portal is so much easier than having to go down to City Hall. Great work, Riverbend!

This is a game changer for our renovation project. Uploading documents directly and tracking the review in real time is exactly what we needed. Thank you!

Super straightforward — I had my permit application submitted in under 20 minutes. Definitely beats the old way of doing things.
